The CEO wanted to diversify the customer base and identify products to serve those new markets. We utilized several methodologies that identified “non-crowded” markets that aligned well with employee skill sets. The result was a prioritization of potential markets and the creation of key messages with a clear and compelling value proposition. In addition, a refinement of lender competencies, an approach to leadership development and a comprehensive talent plan were developed.
RETAIL
The president of a regional salon chain was frustrated with the performance level of service employees to sell retail products. The engagement was to fully understand the guest experience and the reasons why employees were not successful in selling products. Working with employees, a plan was created that significantly increased the average ticket and attracted new clients through referrals.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
A law firm requested assistance to better understand how their brand was perceived in the Twin Cities marketplace, in light of a recent merger. The engagement included a market research analysis that collected information from other law firms, clients, and members of the judicial system. The engagement resulted in a name change for the firm and an understanding of how to re-position the firm in order to avoid confusion and continue its strong position in the marketplace.
